BACKGROUND:
The Skull "La Calavera" Belt Hook
This is the piece that ignited the de Luxe Standard journey. I didn't care much for skulls when I was younger, but the older I got, the more I like what they stood for: life is short. That, and they look freakin cool.
I created this belt hook for people who'd rather keep things out of their pockets. It's inspired by the hooks that are a staple of biker and Americana style, often paired with wallet chains. My wife found another use for it: she hooks it inside her purse so she never has to dig for her keys.
The branding is quiet: our script crown logo, hand-stamped on the back of keyhook. No big name splashed across the front… we saved that for the split ring ;)
