BACKGROUND:
“Perdura. Latin, Spanish, and Italian all carry the same meaning: to last, to hold out, to endure.”
Don’t let the simple appearance fool you. The real value is hidden in the way it was made, not how it’s decorated. This revolutionary design survived a 1,000-pound pull test without breaking, so it may very well be the strongest rosary you’ll ever own. Many, many hours go into building just one.
The solid metal beads and the crucifix are sand-cast in-house from sterling silver, giving them an old-world appearance. Each piece is cleaned, finished, and inspected. Then every metal bead is drilled to the exact size needed so the cord seats properly. Each wood bead’s hole is resized the same way. The hand-designed Pardon Crucifix gets special attention, with all lettering re-engraved by hand for deeper, clearer text.
The unique stringing process alone takes over an hour, unlike a standard knot-and-slide build. The Dyneema cord, the sequence of beads, and the way the hardware is locked in are all done specifically so the finished rosary holds up well beyond what a typical cord rosary can. That takes repeated adjustments and careful work so nothing is left to chance.
Most of what you see is the result of exhausting hours of casting, finishing, drilling, sizing, and a stringing method built around strength rather than speed. I’ll be surprised if I make more than one a week.
What looks like a simple rosary is, in reality, a quiet strength hiding in plain sight, like the faith it was made to carry.
