Paidrín Beag: The Irish Penal Rosary
Paidrín Beag is Irish for "the little rosary," also known as the Irish Penal Rosary.
This little rosary was handcrafted entirely in-house. It begins with a double-sided crucifix, designed to represent both the Crucifixion and the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Yeshua, attached to a custom helix bail fabricated from brass wire. Above the corpus are the hand engraved letters: INRI. The cord combines Technora Cord (400lb tensile) with coyote micro cord, creating a beautiful helix pattern while adding strength.
The Ave beads are African Turquoise. The first three beads are flanked by brass spacers, also made in-house, to represent the opening prayers of a traditional rosary. The decade is followed by a solid brass Pater bead, flanked by both handmade decorative copper spacers.
The rosary ends with a custom brass anchor link attached to a brass helix ring, twisted from three individual wires.
Exceptionally sturdy, this rosary is built for decades of prayer.
