This is the pilot prototype that led to the final design of the Corda Invicta Rosary.
What’s different about this piece?
It uses a thicker, higher-rated cord and was the first to carry a Mariner’s Crucifix. The production rosary uses a thinner-diameter cord that tested over 1,000 lbs. This prototype was built the same way, with a heavier cord, so it should theoretically exceed that rating.
Dyneema cord. Purple Heart wood beads. All-bronze hardware, sand-cast in-house.
